Cascara ist die Haut der Kaffeekirsche aus der sich ein hoffeinhaltiger Tee brühen lässt. Produziert von Diego Guardia am Fuße des Vocano Paos in Costa Rica. Schmeckt fruchtig - süß und intensiv. Cascara ist die Haut der Kaffeekirsche. Wir haben sie lange Zeit für ein Abfallprodukt bei der Aufbereitung gehalten - bis uns Kaffeefarmer in Mittelamerika zeigten, wie man daraus einen süßen, fruchtigen und koffeinhaltigen Tee aufgießt. Das Geheimnis für einen guten Cascara: pestizidefreier Anbau, reife Kaffeekirschen und die selbe Sorgfalt, die man Kaffeebohnen schenken würde. All das vereint Diego Guardia auf seiner Farm Hacienda Sonora. Wird aufgebrüht wie ein normaler, loser Tee - ist aber sehr unempfindlich in der Handhabung. 3g pro 250ml kochendes Wasser sind unser Richtwert - die Ziehzeit ist völlig unkritisch. Lasst so lange ziehen bis ihr keine Geduld mehr habt. Funktioniert auch super als Cold Brew.
